This is a mess of words I tangled into a story and performed this last year at Tin Can Studio. Stan Blacker took the video and put it up on Youtube for all to enjoy.
I'm grateful to Stan for doing this. I'm also grateful to Kendra for workshopping this piece with me and allowing me to perform it at part of her birthday event.
I don't have much more to say about this monolog other than it's based on a true story. It's true to the best of my recollection save for a couple of embellishments. Blame my writing partner...but if you knew where they fell, you'd agree it made the whole piece 1000 times better.
